Chelsea Harbour Dental Practice has a small, dedicated team, working hard to give you the best possible teeth. In addition to the regular staff, there is a team of visiting specialists who help ensure patients receive the highest possible standard of care in line with our policy of "teeth for life".
Chelsea Harbour Dental Practice is run by Nigel Graves. Since he qualified from Dundee University Dental School in 1972 he has gained extensive experience in all aspects of general dental practice.
He has completed post-graduate courses in occlusion and temporo-mandibular joint dysfunction and also in advanced restorative dentistry. Both of these courses were supervised by NGA Seminars of Anaheim, California.
Nigel is also a member of the British Society for Occlusal Studies and of the American Equilibration Society. He is committed to continuing education and is a regular attender at both national and international dental congresses and post-graduate courses.
The rest of the team consists of our hygienist Helen, receptionist Janine and dental nurse Georgia. Everyone at the practice is committed to helping you have the best teeth possible and to have confidence in your smile.
To obtain the best results we feel that root fillings, implant surgery, orthodontic and periodontal (gum) treatment are best performed by a specialist. Our periodontist is Fiona MacKillop who works in the practice on a regular basis. We refer patients requiring root canal work to specialists Dr Richard Kahan, Mr Michael Sultan and Dr Wilfred Chan.
For orthodontics we have our own specialist Dr Almas Husain who works within the practice, while for implant surgery we refer patients to Dr Andrew Dawood and Dr Harry Shiers. Our anaesthetist, Dr D Osman, is on hand to help nervous patients feel more comfortable, and to sedate where desirable.
